Today’s podcast guest did not come into my world by accident.
In fact, I manifested our meeting.
Here’s what a happened…
About a year ago I was doing research about common hormone imbalances in women over 50, and I came across this website called the pcosdiva.com.
I was immediately intrigued by the website’s founder and her personal journey of healing.
For years, she suffered from the physical and emotional symptoms of a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), which affects 1 in 10 women and is present from puberty all the way through post-menopausal years.
With fierce determination to get healthy, she did extensive research, and after a lot trial and error, she ultimately alleviated her PCOS symptoms naturally through diet and lifestyle changes.
What seemed like a curse was really a blessing, and she emerged as a stronger, wiser and healthier woman.
I always love hearing stories about people who transform their health by making lifestyle changes, and after reading this story I thought: I’d love to meet this woman and have her on the BB50 podcast!
And sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. (The Law of Attraction is for real!)
Interestingly enough, I never actually contacted her, though—I had planned on it, but I got side tracked and totally forgot about it.
But a few months later I just happened to run into her in the hallway at health conference I was attending for health professionals in San Diego.
Not only was it amazing that we met in person soon after I planted the thought in my mind that I’d like to meet her…
But I found out that she lives just a few towns away from me here in New Hampshire. (Imagine flying all the way across the country to meet someone who’s practically living in your backyard!)
This mystery woman’s name is Amy Medling. And she’s known as the “PCOS Diva.”
I’m so excited to share her story and holistic approach with you in today’s Better Beyond 50 podcast episode.
