It’s taken six weeks to get unpacked and organized, but I’m finally ready to share the new Better Beyond 50 headquarters with you.

Without further ado, here it is…

This is where I meet with clients online for one-on-one coaching sessions, this is where I hold my group Coaching and Q& A calls for all the BB50 Transformation Challenges, this is where I hold interviews for the BB50 podcast…

And this is where I’m writing this very email.

I have to confess, though, I’m STILL not fully unpacked and there are rooms that need a good cleaning. But it feels really good to finally have the BB50 workspace fully operational.

And my fur baby, Phoebe, likes that she has a new place to chill out…

While living in this new house certainly has its perks (there’s not only an open and bright office space to work in, but there’s a lot of counter space in the kitchen to cook and there’s a big yard for Phoebe to play), moving from a condo to a house has come with a new set of challenges.

If you’ve been reading my emails for a while, you know that I’m really conscientious about living a healthy lifestyle. And that means being mindful of reducing our exposure to toxins as much as possible.

So over the last few weeks, as we’ve been working to get the house all set up, we’ve had a few questions we had to find the answers to. Like…

What kind of natural, non-toxic paint should we use to repaint the walls?

What kinds of natural cleaners should we use to clean the hardwood floors and granite counter tops?

What’s the best water filter to remove arsenic and radium from our water?

What are the best natural brands of seeds and fertilizers for the lawn?

Now, it’s impossible to avoid all the chemicals in our environment, but as much as possible, Chris (my fiancé) and I have chosen the natural, toxin-free alternative. But it has required a lot of time and energy researching the best options.

Have you ever considered the amount of toxins you’re exposed to in and around your home?

That’s what today’s podcast episode is all about.

I invited world-renowned Nutritionist and Naturopath, David Getoff, back to the Better Beyond 50 podcast to talk about how toxins in our environment are messing up our endocrine and immune systems and how we can minimize our exposure to these harmful toxins with simple action steps.

Here’s some of the topics David and I discussed:

* The top 6 toxins that are making you sick and simple action steps to avoid them as much as possible.

* Why taking off your shoes before entering your house is a MUST.

* Recommended alternatives to toxic, conventional cleaning and hygiene products. (Plus, how to read the ingredient labels).

* How your immune, endocrine and detoxification systems get disrupted when you’re exposed to environmental toxins. (Plus 3 simple and practical steps to keep these systems healthy.)

* How to make sure you’re drinking water is clean and safe.

* How in one 15-minute shower you can absorb more chlorine than drinking 20 gallons of water.
